PRACTICE SUMMARY

Mr. Reynolds has served as an intellectual property, technology, and business attorney since 2013 and focuses his practice on developing and protecting his client’s intellectual property portfolios, including securing trademark and copyright registrations worldwide, and granting and obtaining licenses for trademarks, copyrights, and related technology. In his career, Mr. Reynolds has prepared and prosecuted trademark and copyright applications, provided trademark opinions for proposed, expanding, and existing brands, and counseled his clients on how best to protect and monetize their trademark portfolios.

Mr. Reynolds is experienced in IP enforcement, including sending and responding to cease and desist letters, bringing IP enforcement actions in both general and specialized administrative courts.

Mr. Reynolds represents a wide variety of clients, including clients ranging from large fortune 500 companies, universities, and high-tech start-ups, to small businesses and individual inventors. Representative clients include the following:

â–  Representing a highly specialized medical retailer and service provider in obtaining trademark protection for its brands and enforcing its trademark portfolio against infringement from larger competitors.

 

â–  Representing a blockchain-based cybersecurity company in creating enterprise-level licenses and reciprocal marketing agreements, as well as providing general intellectual property portfolio counselling. 

 

â–  Representing an industry veteran wine company specializing in deep-etched and hand-painted wine bottles to secure trademark protection for its brand and provide guidance for brand expansion.

 

â–  Representing a retailer of specialized mainframe software in licensing the software to large, sophisticated companies, and negotiating the same.

 

â–  Representing a nonprofit corporation dedicated to repatriating skilled trade and manufacturing jobs and raising awareness among students for the same, including securing trademark protection for their brands and providing general intellectual property portfolio guidance.
