Klintworth & Rozenblat IP LLC is an intellectual property law firm which is based on the concept that obtaining high-quality patent protection should not have to be prohibitively expensive.
In today’s economy, the world’s top companies are placing increasing emphasis on hiring highly skilled, experienced patent prosecutors at more affordable prices. It is our belief that large law firms are not ideally suited to meet these needs. Large law firms typically have large overhead, high billing-rates, and an over-emphasis on providing litigation services rather than patent prosecution services. Often, large law firms hand down patent prosecution work to inexperienced patent lawyers without adequate training and supervision. Klintworth & Rozenblat IP was formed to avoid these problems in order to more effectively meet the needs of our clients and provide top-notch patent prosecution services at more affordable prices.

Klintworth & Rozenblat IP does not believe in a one size fits all strategy for developing the patent portfolios of our clients. Instead, we believe in carefully listening to the needs and goals of our clients and developing custom tailored IP strategies.
The firm’s size allows us to provide close, personal attention, and to easily adapt to the changing needs of our clients. We meet with each of our clients regularly, regardless of where the client is located, to develop close working-relationships. Rather than having a large number of clients, making it difficult to focus on each client individually, we focus on having long-term, lasting relationships with our clients.
We believe this is a win-win situation benefitting the client by providing a law firm which integrally knows the client’s technology and business allowing for higher quality and more efficient work-product, and benefitting the law firm by providing a steady stream of work. We pride ourselves on providing high quality work-product in a timely manner.
Our office is centrally located in a secured building in downtown Chicago. All client files are kept in locked, steel cabinets in a secure file room. The firm utilizes a protected network with firewalls and security redundancy. All electronic data is kept on a server which is only accessible via passwords which are changed regularly. Each of our computers have fingerprint recognition system for added security. Some of our clients have their own secure networks which we utilize when we email electronic data. The firm’s network has backed up and mirrored hard-drives. Daily and weekly backups are made to secure, external hard-drives located both locally and off-site. The firm utilizes Computer Packages Inc. (CPI) patent docketing software to keep the firm's docket, and billing software which is compatible with most electronic billing systems.
